Intellectual Property Rights

The content of this site is for personal use only. You must not access or distribute any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes. You should not copy or re-sell any part of our site or resources.

All content included on our site is protected by copyright laws. By continuing to use this site you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable Intellectual Property Law. 

Permission is granted to download and print in hard copy limited portions of the resources from our site for your personal use.

You must treat as confidential any user identification code, password or other security feature in relation to our site.  If, in our opinion, you are not complying with these Terms of Use, we have the right to disable any such code, password or feature at any time.

General

Let’s Talk Food is a collaboration between Dr Laura Wyness and Lynn Burns, two Registered Nutritionists with the Association for Nutrition.  A Registered Nutritionist will be found on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN). To be listed on the Register a person must be a competent, qualified nutrition professional who meets rigorous standards of competence and professionalism. As UKVRN registrants, we adhere to the Association for Nutrition Standards of Ethics, Conduct and Performance including maintaining client confidentiality.


Disclosure Policy

We aim to communicate evidence-based nutrition information in a clear and accessible way.   The information and resources on this website are evidence-based and are for general information and are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. 

Any information published on this website can become out of date prior to a website update. We accept no responsibility for any loss of whatever nature arising out of the use of this website and/or the information contained herein. Information or resources we provide should not be seen as a substitute for personalised advice from a dietitian, nurse, doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.

The images featured on this website are from copyright-free sources, unless stated otherwise and photo credits are given where applicable.

Privacy policy

If you have enrolled in any of our online courses, your name and email address is stored on the Thinkific website.  If you have downloaded any of our resources, your name and email address will be stored on the Thinkific or SendOwl website.   Only Dr Laura Wyness and Lynn Burns have access to these password protected sites and we will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.  

If you would like us to delete your records from our system, email us at nutrition@laurawyness.com or lynn.burnsrphn@gmail.com or via the Thinkific platform.  We will delete your information without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

If there is ever a breach in our security, we will inform you within 72 hours of us becoming aware of the breach (however we are confident in our systems and don’t expect this to ever happen).

 

Cookies

Cookies are small text files or information stored by your internet browser on your computer’s hard drive.  We may use cookies to collect browsing data, for example, to keep track of your preferences and profile information and to collect general usage and volume statistical information.  We may use this information to help us improve our website and to deliver a better browsing experience for you.  However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others.  You can set your internet web browser to refuse cookies or to remove cookies from your hard drive.
